tofie_logo The project aims to enhance the knowledge and competences of educators of any discipline in the fields of Learning Disorders, promote their professional development and supply them with tools they can use in an educational context, aligned with their actual professional development needs. To this end we will develop a comprehensive Handbook of good practices and tools and a Course on Learning Disorders that will support the inclusion and participation of students with learning disorders, with a focus on the eventual special needs of foreign students whose first language is other than the language of instruction.

Vamos logoThis project addresses the increasing multicultural character of EU societies in the current context of migration and the need to establish specially designed training methods for migrants and by migrants.This project addresses the increasing multicultural character of EU societies in the current context of migration and the need to establish specially designed training methods for migrants and by migrants.To achieve this, the project will provide an innovative, internationally competitive training programme, tailored to migrants who will make use of their own experiences to help others, but also improve their own employability possibilities. The training programme will support the development and recognition of trainers' knowledge, skills and competencies that are crucial for the development of individuals. The proposed training course’s innovative edge lays in the fact that it aims to prepare Experts in migrants’ labour and social inclusion who will themselves belong to migrant populations. The developed course will provide learners with knowledge and specific competences on:

  1. Cultural, psychological and social skills
  2. Legislation, rules and practicalities that help the access of migrants into the labour market;
  3. Assessment of newly-arrived migrants’ skills.

The above will be developed making use of insiders’ perspective which will make it absolutely relevant to the target audiences’ needs.

The international project entitled “Intercultural Training for Educators - InterTrainE” is funded by the EU (Erasmus+ Programme/ KA2 action/ Strategic Partnerships for Adult Education). The project, led by Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK, includes 7 partners from 4 countries (UK, Finland, Italy and Greece) and aims to develop a training programme for educators teaching adult migrants.

Re.Inclusion, Guidelines for the work inclusion of the refugees and the asylum seekers

The Re.Inclusion project will define the competence profile of practitioners working with refugees; validation of skills acquired in formal, non-formal and informal contexts (in connection with ECVET principles); and will produce an Open educational resource (OER) and a report of best practices that can be used for the social and work inclusion of refugees. It will produce a common system of procedures for the recognition of qualifications and a report of training needs analysis. Two training courses (face to face and in e-learning) will be described and tested.
